The Practicum is held at the studio of Tesia Blackburn in San Francisco's historic Hunter's Point Shipyard. Visit Tesia's website to learn more about her and the Shipyard.  You may also attend the Practicum via the Internet. For details email Tesia.

Program fee: $1500.00  (This includes all printed materials. This does NOT include any field trips, transportation or lodging for those field trips, entrance fees to museums etc.) Your deposit of $300.00 will hold your space and is due by March 1, 2008. See cancellation policies below.

Program dates: Beginning May 7, 2008 thru November 19, 2008. Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30. There are several full day seminars to be held on Saturdays, dates and location to be announced. There will also be at least one field trip out of town over a weekend. There will be a Summer Break in June (date TBA.)

I recommend you register online through Paypal (see right). As program size is strictly limited, time stamps will be taken from Paypal payments to determine who is registered. Registration online begins March 1, 2008.

Deposit of $300.00 is due by March 1, 2008. You must pay the balance of $1200.00 by May 1, 2008 or forfeit your deposit. No refunds will be made after May 1, 2008.

Cancellations and refunds: As noted above, no refunds will be made after May 1, 2008. You must pay the balance of $1200.00 by May 1, 2008 or forfeit your deposit. If Tesia must cancel the program for whatever reason, she will refund all tuition. There are no makeups or refunds for classes you miss. You are encouraged to attend all meetings. If Tesia must cancel a meeting, a makeup meeting will be arranged at no additional cost.

About the Instructor:
Tesia Blackburn has been a working artist in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 20 years. In 2002 NextMonet Inc., signed Tesia to produce prints of several of her paintings.In 2000 she was hired by Golden Artist Colors, as the Golden Working Artist in San Francisco. In 2006 Artbeats, Inc. signed with Tesia to produce posters of two of her images, due out nationwide in Spring 2007. Her work is collected both locally and internationally with patrons as far away as Tokyo. Tesia has taught at the Mendocino Art Center, Palo Alto Art Center, San Francisco City College,Santa Fe NM Community College, the Randall Museum in San Francisco and other facilities. She received her BFA from the Academy of Art in 1984, studied lithography at the San Francisco Art Institute in 1990 and received her Master’s of Art in 1992 at John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, California. Tesia is currently represented by 20th Street Gallery in Sacramento, and Marion Meyer Gallery in Laguna Beach, California.
