EXPRESSIVE ABSTRACT PAINTING
IN ACRYLIC:
January 8 - March 11, 2008 every

Class size limited to 10
This class will emphasize one on one instruction
in abstract acrylic painting. I provide all paints, mediums and
gels. There will be group critiques on a regular basis. Outside
assignments may include gallery and museum visits as well as reading assignments.
We will delve deeply into multiple techniques, including gels, grounds,
varnishes, mixed media, collage, glazing, transfer techniques and much
more. Lots of individual attention because of the small class size.
Each week I will demonstrate a new technique, bring in materials for review,
introduce you to a new artist etc. You will get a chance to problem solve
on works in progress and begin new works under the watchful eye of a skilled

FINE ART ON THE PRESS
January 8 - March 11, 2008 every Tuesday 4 to 7 pm 8 weeks
Tuition: $280.00

Bring your love of drawing to
this printmaking class and experiment with a variety of techniques. Be
introduced to monoprints, a painterly technique full of color and brushwork.
Explore the relief printing processes of linocuts and collagraph. These
processes allow for a wide variety of artistic discoveries that can be found
in no other medium. Please email me for a materials list. Tuition
includes $20.00 for ink.
CLASS POLICIES: Class registration is accepted on a first come basis. Early registration is encouraged. Registration and payment can be made by phone with credit card or by mail with check or credit card information. FOR ALL ABSTRACT PAINTING CLASSES - Deposit of $150.00 is required with registration. The balance due at the first class meeting. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN due to small class size, unless notification is received two weeks before the first class. If I have to cancel the class I will refund all tuitions.
